Somewhere over the rainbow – letter notes
How to play songs from movies on a piano.
“Over the Rainbow” is a ballad written for the movie “The Wizard of Oz” from 1939. The composition was later covered by many famous artists like Eric Clapton and Frank Sinatra.
The melody starts with an octave, which might be tricky at first, but trust me, the song is quite easy to learn. In fact, with our letter notes you’ll be able to learn it in a blink of an eye! No matter if you are a beginner piano player or have just some experience. Just play every note letter by letter on the keyboard and that’s basically it!
